Hi Yves,
Can you try again adding '-t 2'?
Can you make a timestamped tcpdump of the negociation between pigdin and the
server (without sslh between)
Which xmpp server is behind sslh?
Regards
Arnaud

Subject: [sslh] forwarding xmpp traffic to ssh

I've got a weird issue, my xmpp connection is forwarded to the ssh port most

of the time.

I run:

sslh -v -f -p 0.0.0.0:443 --xmpp 127.0.0.1:5222 --ssh 127.0.0.1:22

Which gives me:

ssh addr: localhost:ssh. libwrap service: sshd family 2 2

xmpp addr: localhost:xmpp-client. libwrap service: (null) family 2 2

listening on:

         0.0.0.0:https

timeout to ssh: 2

listening to 1 addresses

turning into nobody

sslh-fork v1.10 started

accepted fd 5

**** writing defered on fd -1

connecting to localhost:ssh family 2 len 16

connection from somehost.example.com:13087 to home.xxxx.com:https forwarded

from localhost:40796 to localhost:ssh

sslh is running on Fedora

the xmpp client is pidgin running on windows.

Once in a while it recognises the xmpp traffic correctly and forwards to
5222,

but 9 out of 10 times, it forwards it to ssh.
