Hi

To start, i want to thank you for this app, its very useful!! :)

I downloaded the 1.9 version, compiled it on slackware64 and
then i tried to use ipv6 address... and it always fail, dont even
start... this are the tests i have done:

-with plain ipv6 addres

 /usr/sbin/sslh -u nobody -p 10.10.10.1:443 -p 2001:b18:400:0:211:d8ff:fe82:e:443 -s localhost:22 -l localhost:443
Servname not supported for ai_socktype `2001'
(Check you have specified all ports)

-with [ipv6 address]:

 /usr/sbin/sslh -u nobody -p 10.10.10.1:443 -p [2001:b18:400:0:211:d8ff:fe82:e]:443 -s localhost:22 -l localhost:443
Servname not supported for ai_socktype `[2001'
(Check you have specified all ports)

-with hostname that resolves to one ipv6 address:

 /usr/sbin/sslh -u nobody -p 10.10.10.1:443 -p caravela-ipv6:443 -s localhost:22 -l localhost:443
Name or service not known `caravela-ipv6'

-to a interface:
 /usr/sbin/sslh -u nobody -p eth0:443 -s localhost:22 -l localhost:443
Name or service not known `eth0'

If i try to start to all interfaces with:
 /usr/sbin/sslh -u nobody -p 0.0.0.0:443 -s localhost:22 -l localhost:443

i get it working for ipv4 only, it still doesnt bind to the ipv6
interfaces.

I tried to check the docs and even the source (i'm not a
programmer) , and i don't understand how to enable the ipv6 support.
So am i missing something or is there something wrong here?

i also would like to ask for a feature request... due to the
fact that some webapps check for the port they are running, it would
be great that sslh could bind to a interface instead just IPs, this
way we could free the lo interface for apache and use the other
network interfaces for sslh, for whatever ip they could have.

Thanks in advance for the help

Naturally the common people don't want war... but after all it is the
leaders of a country who determine the policy, and it is always a
simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or
a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship.
Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of
the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are
being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and
exposing the country to danger. It works the same in every country.
