[sslh] Transparent Proxy iptables explanation ?

Hello,

I just wanted to check if my understanding of the iptables rules for
transparent proxying is correct


1. Packets sent from the source to sslh are forwarded to the target
application (without iptables)

2. Return packets from the target are marked and then routedout via the
local loopback interface.
SSLH then reads the packets from the loopback and forwards them to the
source.

Is this somewhat correct ?
