I am not optimistic -- this should fix an OpenBSD issue, not
a Linux issue.

Also, can you send us the output of:
ps aux | grep sslh

(just to be sure we are talking about the same kind of
zombies...)

and maybe, as root, to see what connections are actually
running:
netstat -pte
